Roots of Wildflower Holt

Owner Helen Quirke chose the name of the shop as she always felt like a bit of a wildflower, not a cutting flower purposely planted somewhere, uniformly growing, doing as expected, but an accidental seed dropped or blown into a spot paving her own path.

With a love of nature and its many wildflowers (or what some consider weeds), we delight in the benefits these plants can have on our health and wellbeing.  Helen spent 10 years working with her sister Dr Sally Moorcroft, helping her establish her off-the-shelf range of herbal products, Dr Sally's Botanicals, which are fully stocked in our store.  She then branched out on her own and began to study the benefits of essential oils on health; with the help of Sally the Wildflower Aroma Blends were created.

With a passion for journalling, stationery, art and writing. We stock an ever growing collection Kaweco pens, Tom's Studio, Blackwing,  journals, books, stationery, ceramics, planners, notebooks, prints and our outside-the-box clothing range embraces the unusual.    Our upcycled and curated furniture injects new life in to once-loved items.
